Learn the rules of Bubble Shooter

Read the aim of Bubble Shooter, then make your first move. Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Original hexagonal matching board and bouncing projectiles.

Practice beyond the first move

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Refer to the controls when needed.

The goal to keep in mind

Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Notice how the game responds to your input.

How to proceed

  1. Aim and fire.
  2. Attach bubbles to the cluster.
  3. Groups of three or more equal colours disappear.
  4. Floating groups drop; five misses lower the ceiling.

How your actions work

Pointer/touch aim, angle controls and Fire. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Check any mode label before starting.

See the idea in action

Removing one support can drop a larger mixed-colour group below it. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Take a moment to compare.

A useful caution

Contact with a different colour is not a match. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
